A Pause on "Crown of the Dying Embers" Series

I have thought about this decision for a while, but I have decided to put a hiatus on continuing "Crown of the Dying Embers" series. Despite marketing this book, I make virtually no money on this book. In fact, I spend more on fanart, book covers, and book for

matting than I make on book sales. Perhaps if I loved this series as ardently as I do my current WIP, then I would push forward despite the lack of fanbase.

However, that isn't the case.

As much as I love Eilidh Vestian and her villainous world, it isn't with the same fervor as my next book series. So, between the lack-of book sales and the amount of passion I feel towards this book series, it is officially on hiatus. If the book gains traction in the future, then I will continue writing the sequel (I was a quarter of the way done). However, until that day comes, I must say goodbye for now.
